myartspace.com is a fresh new community-based website for young aspiring artists
and photographers; more established artists and members of the art world –
teachers, collectors, museums, galleries, art buyers. members can establish
their presence in the community, build and display galleries of their works,
promote their works and career, participate in dialog, competition and events,
and build an online store to sell products. artists and photographers can
create the equivalent of their own personal website, but within the myArtSpace
community thus having the benefits of the traffic flow into the community, the
advanced design and eCommerce tools, and the low ongoing costs of sustaining
that presence. becoming a member of the community is free, and each person has
near unlimited storage capacity to develop their presence. the online community
is supported by both proprietary and user-generated content including blogs,
reviews and critiques, forums, happenings/events and eLearning materials.
members are provided with a series of online hosted tools such as contact and
event management that are intended to help them raise their awareness level and
develop their art/photography career. special events, such as competitions, are
sponsored and featured as a means to drive and sustain engagement by the core
membership

competition. they can enter the contest simply by uploading up the five jpegs
of their work. submissions will be deposited into a standard digital gallery,
an election begins and two winners are selected to win an all expense paid trip
to our first annual riviera art retreat in the south of france.
